Mushrooms
Both wild and cultivated Finnish mushrooms are ideal for a low-energy diet. Fresh mushrooms contain a low amount of fat and energy. Because many wild mushrooms contain vitamin D in significant amounts, they are valuable especially for vegetarians.
Mushrooms also contain different types of vitamin B and mineral nutrients such as potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. Mushrooms are also rich in fibre. hiitake and oyster mushrooms are particularly good sources of dietary fibre.
